We also offer a full property maintenance and a fitting service for many of our products.

Why did you choose this business?
My husband already had good knowledge of many of the products we sell in the shop and was experienced in property maintenance, and I have experience of running an office and dealing with accounts, so we jumped at the opportunity to buy the company as a going concern 4 years ago.

If you could offer 1 bit of advice to start-up businesses what would it be?
It’s a cliché but unfortunately, it’s very true – Don’t mix business with pleasure! We have learned the hard way that there are very few friends in business. Work hard every day but not too hard that you don’t have time to enjoy life!
