Julie Taylor – Specialist Assessor/Teacher

Describe your business services?

Assessing, diagnosing and tutoring students with literacy difficulties and dyslexia.  I write the reports for students with dyslexia, so they can access the disabled students allowance, that gives access to support during further and higher education.

Who is your target client?

Students with undiagnosed dyslexia, who are heading for university or equivalent.

What is the benefit of using your service?

I am one of 5 qualified assessors in Norfolk, and the only one listed in West Norfolk. I help students access physical and financial support, enabling them to study and achieve qualifications, leading to their dream jobs/careers.

Why did you choose this business?

I think it chose me!  I started teaching young children to read 20 years ago, developing a range of strategies to help those who were struggling.  As I moved to working with High School age children who could not read, I became more interested in how I could help and started studying.

Patient, confident, approachable

Chocolate
